So…I was in school last week scrolling through the songs on my iPod. I was making a list of the songs I wanted to keep because when I sync my iPod to my new laptop, I’m pretty sure a lot of them are gonna go buh-bye.
So, I’m scrolling through, writing a list in my iPod’s notes section, when I see this song I don’t recognize. It doesn’t have an album name or artist, but it’s entitled Hold On. …I play it, and it sounds really pretty. But I’d never heard it. I don’t recall any of my friends showing it to me, or downloading it, or knowing it period.
I go on Facebook, typing in a line of the song’s lyrics and asking if anyone’s heard it. None of the friends that replied did, though one was able to find out the song’s artist by typing in the lyrics on Google and getting a result that way.
Well, the song’s done by a man named Renny Field. I went on Youtube to look for it there, but…it didn’t come up. Which is weird. I’d never heard of him to begin with so I don’t know if it’s a popular song or not, but I couldn’t find it.
I don’t know. Maybe it was some sort of sign, or something. Not that I normally belive in those things, but… I can’t think of any other explanation, especially after reading the lyrics.
The lyrics, for those interested. http://www.rennyfield.com/makebelievelyrics.html
Anyway, that’s just my weird little story. I thought I’d share it with you guys.
